Student Health Center/ Student Life Position Title: SHC | CAPS Faculty Counselor Counseling and Psychological Services: CAPS Faculty Counselor Full-Time Temporary – Non-Tenure Track (SSP/AR II – AY) Position Details: The Student Health Center in the Division of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management at Cal State LA, is seeking applications for a full-time non tenure-track CAPS faculty counselor with positions available as determined by need during the 2024-2025 academic year. Minimum Qualifications: Applicants should have the ability to relate well to others within the academic environment and demonstrate ability and/or interest in working in a multiethnic, multicultural environment. Demonstrated proficiency in written and oral use of the English language is required. - An earned master’s or doctoral degree in counseling, behavioral sciences, psychology or related field from an accredited university. - Possession of a current California license as a Marriage and Family Therapist, Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, or Psychologist and at least two years’ experience working in a college, university or other higher education setting. - Demonstrated le...
