Description The School of Applied Sciences and Arts in the College of Integrative Sciences and Arts at Arizona State University invites applications to join our teaching pool for Spanish Faculty Associates for the 2026-2027 academic year. The successful candidate(s) will teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Spanish language, culture, and professional communication; prepare course materials; evaluate student work; and hold office hours to assist students. We especially encourage applications from candidates with experience in Spanish for the Professions or Specific Purposes and/or heritage language instruction. Faculty Associate positions are one semester, non-benefits-eligible, fixed-term appointments with no tenure implications, not to exceed an average of .40 FTE per semester. The number of courses is contingent upon unit needs, funding, and sufficient enrollment. Salary is based upon qualifications and assigned teaching load.
