Full-time Night Shift 72 hours bi-weekly 7pm to 7:30am Every 3rd weekend: Rotating holidays: Night and weekend differential: Med/Surg/Tele (2E): 2 EAST is an inpatient acute care medical and surgical unit consisting of 30 private and semiprivate rooms. This unit serves patients with all acute care needs including but not limited to Cardiac, GI, Infectious disease, Fractures, Wound Care, Respiratory, and limited behavioral health. We have a combination of medical and surgical patients. Staff must complete telemetry training and maintain competency in reading ECG and administering cardiac drips. Med/Surg/Tele/Observation (3E): 3 EAST is an observation unit and a subset of the Medical Unit consisting of 12 semiprivate beds. The focus is on rapid testing and discharge of the patient within 24 hours. Types of patients served are Congestive Heart Failure, Stroke, TIA, COPD, Chest pain, etc. This unit serves the surgical patients and orthopedic population. Proficiency in Telemetry needed. During times of surge capacity in the hospital, these beds may be used for inpatient. Staff are trained to care for both inpatient and outpatient on the medical unit.
