Location: Biopsy Diagnostics: Days: M- F Hours: Varies - M &W: 1 pm - 9 pm; T, Th, F: 9 am - 5 pm Full-time: Benefit Eligible In this role, you will: - Assure appropriate specimen accessioning and labeling. - Perform gross description and dissection of specimens received. - Maintain the integrity of the specimen and patient identification. - Describe gross anatomic features of routine, uncomplicated surgical specimens, ensuring that all lesions, marking and sutures are mentioned. - Reviews clinical information provided to determine what pathologic examination is pertinent. - Examines the gross specimen with knowledge of pathologic conditions that may be present and the questions that must be answered. - Dictate the finding in a clear, complete, sufficient manner. - Select...
