Overview Opportunity: Lifeguard: Promote the safety and well-being of guests utilizing the pool facilities in accordance with established guest service and sustainability standards. Potential Career Path: Lifeguard Supervisor - Recreations Manager: Essential Job Functions: - Monitor guest activity in pool area to ensure safe use of the pool. - Apply and enforce pool rules and regulations consistently. - Assist distressed swimmers in emergency swimming situations. - Coordinate emergency procedures and provide first aid in emergency situations as trained and authorized. - Respond to guest inquiries and provide resort information upon request. - Perform general maintenance and care of facilities and equipment as requested. - Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program. - Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards. - Perform other duties as requested by management. Position Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent. - American Red Cross Lifeguard License required. - Previous lifeguard experience preferred.
