Works in the Food Hygiene program, reviewing applications and conducting food inspections Works in the onsite sewage disposal program (OSTDS) and reviews applications for individual lots to determine soil characteristics and water table elevations. Determines topographical conditions by establishing benchmarks using calibrated instrumentations. Conducts construction inspections. Maintains the Environmental Health Database and is responsible for the programmatic files associated with the department. Investigates complaints in any of the Environmental Health Programs as assigned affecting public health. Greets and assists internal and external customers.
