JOB SUMMARY: The server provides friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all our guests. Each server’s primary objective is to provide our guests with an excellent experience, so they will want to return. As one of the primary contacts for guests dining in the restaurant, the server is responsible for serving food & beverage. Must be available to work weekends, nights and holidays. ESSSENTIAL/PRIMARY DUTIES: G reets & welcomes guests, describes dishes, recommends beverage pairings, anticipatwa guests’ needs and monitora overall guest satisfaction Maintains a clean work environment and set up the following team for success Servers must have a very thorough knowledge of all menu items Monitors and observes guests dining experience to ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service and respond promptly and courteously to correct any problems Collects payments from guests: Writes guests’ food orders on order slips, memorizes orders, or enters orders into computers for transmittal to kitchen staff Prepares checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes Takes food or beverages orders from guests Checks guests’ identification to ensure t...
