Job Title Assistant Librarian Agency: Texas A&M University Department: Libraries Proposed Minimum Salary: Commensurate Job Location: College Station, Texas Job Type: Staff Job Description: What we want: The Assistant Librarian participates in the development of library programs focused on enhancing student success through information literacy, critical thinking, and curricular support as a member of the Office of Information Literacy. Provides teaching services to library instruction programs which include course-integrated literacy instruction, assignment redesign, assessment, and online education. Provides service as a learning and curricular support specialist for a designated Texas A&M College or School. Collaborates with other learning and curricular support specialists to further the educational mission of the libraries and serviced departments.
