Based in Canberra, this role offers a front-row seat to the nation's political stage, where you will report on the key players, policies, and debates that define our country. As Editor you will collaborate and have line of sight over the work of our Canberra team who report into Australia’s leading metropolitan mastheads including The Herald Sun, The Daily Telegraph, The Courier Mail and The Advertiser. As the National Political Editor, you will report to the Network Head of News and spearhead the national political agenda, working with state-based colleagues to deliver compelling and impactful coverage for our national audience. You will gain unparalleled access to the corridors of power, witnessing law-making in action and uncovering the art of political compromise.
