Job description

Description Plan layout, install, and repair wiring, electrical fixtures and control equipment such as switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels, using hand tools and power tools, according to customer specifications as indicated on custom engineered designs and drawings. Job Responsibilities/Key Accountabilities: - Measure, cut, bend, assemble and install electrical conduit using tools such as hacksaw, pipe threader and conduit bender. - Pull wire through conduit, assisted by electrical helper. - Plan new or modified installations to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance, and avoid hazardous and unreliable wiring, consistent with customer specifications and electrical codes. - Work from ladders, lifts and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures. - Work safely without presenting a direct threat to self or others - Tests continuity of circuit to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components, using testing instruments. - Coordinate projects and assign work to electrical helpers, ensuring all installations are completed according to specifications and in time frame specified for customer. - Train electri...
