Intermittent Worker - Riley Center

Job description

Position Function: This is an intermittent position with irregular hours. The primary function of individuals in this position is to assist the full-time staff of the MSU Riley Center in preparation, execution, and deconstruction of all performance/event related equipment in the facility's various spaces. The primary focus will be on, but not limited to, performances/events in the Grand Opera House space. Individuals in this position will primarily report to the Technical Director of the MSU Riley Center, but may, at times, be asked to assist other full-time staff. This position will, at times, be working with various touring crews for national touring shows and well-known artists. Therefore, a respectable level of decorum is required. Employees hired into Intermittent positions are limited to working no more than 720 hours per fiscal year.
