TITLE Plant Manager LOCATION Cairo, GA DEPARTMENT Manufacturing Management REPORTS TO Director of Manufacturing CLASSIFICATION Salary Exempt Summary/Purpose The purpose of this position is to drive profitable business with the highest levels of safety, customer satisfaction, and quality. The plant manager must also provide leadership and guidance to managers in every functional area of the plant, as well as support a positive work climate and culture. Coordinate through direct reports the execution of production schedules based on sales requirements and plant capacity. Play lead role in resolving customer related issues and actively participate in customer sponsored training or kaizen activities. Essential Duties and Accountabilities: - Determine plant policies consistent with company values / policy and direct the application of such policies to the plant’s operations. Inform JNA of customer related or other business issues, make recommendations, and seek directions as appropriate. - Confer with Manufacturing Manager, HR Manager, PC Manager, Quality Manager, and Engineering Manager on the application of production processes, kaizen activities, and adherence to safety and environme...
