Department: 02380 AMG Racine Main - Urology Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Monday-Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm, Friday 7:30am-4:00pm. This position is mainly answering the phones for the Urology clinics located in Pleasant Prairie and Racine. There will also be cross training completed to cover at the front desk in Urology and Men's Health for checking in/out and scheduling patients. Pay Range: $19.80 - $29.70 Major Responsibilities: Creates the initial electronic health record that serves as the foundation of the patient medical record that is utilized by all members of the healthcare team . Prevents creation of duplicate medical records that can cause treatment safety issues and billing problems . Follows and ensures compliance with the mandate of the organization’s accrediting bodies to use identifiers to positively identify a patient prior to the delivery of patient care to ensure patient safety. ​ ​ Checks in and registers patients; obtains and verifies complete demographic, guarantor, and insurance information; discusses and collects co-pays and other out-of-pocket patient responsibilities.
