Job Description: *ONLY OPEN TO CURRENT FULL-TIME ANNUALLY PAID PARKS EMPLOYEES*: *This vacancy is only open to 1) current permanent Parks employees serving in the Certified IT Developer (Applications) civil service title or 2) on leave from the title or 3) permanent Parks employees in or on leave from a comparable title. Major Responsibilities: - Under managerial direction, with the broadest scope for the exercise of independent initiative and judgment, work with Agency stakeholders to understand the business strategy drivers and business problems to be solved by a given solution. - Assess existing and future solutions requirements and support vendor selection. - Assess technology across the enterprise application/technology portfolio. - Confirm the conformance of applications, components and services to established standards and best practices. - Ensure compliance with IT standards and guidelines throughout the application development lifecycle. - Identify probable system or design flaws and escalate issues to upper management before serious performance impact. - Assist in the development and review of technical specifications for procurement of IT systems and services, including...
