Engineering Shift Supervisor - Full Time (Tropicana Atlantic City)

Job description

Job Duties: Starting Salary $65,000. - $70,000. - Responsible for all aspects of project management and coordination for project assigned. - Develop and implement detailed project plans, scheduling, monitoring progress against the plan(s), and reporting project status to upper management. - Coordinate and direct the activities of the appropriate functional areas and vendors participating in the projects. - Supervises activities of general external contractors and asset preservation staff on projects. - Oversees day to day upkeep of buildings and grounds maintenance on a defined shift. - Assists with selection, training, coaching and scheduling Engineering staff. - Assigns and schedules work to department employees and follows up on assignments accordingly. - Oversees inventory control practices and procedures, and monitors the effectiveness of cost saving methods of maintaining par levels of equipment and supplies for department operation.
