Their primary role is to greet guests and stock merchandise. This is done with professional, courteous, and friendly behavior. Produce Clerk also have a strong working knowledge of the products and services that are offered within the department. This knowledge allows them to share suggestions with guests. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provide frequent guest service through friendly behavior and extensive product knowledge. - Stock items within the department and maintain merchandising standards. - Work in cooler and backroom areas. Organize and put product away as assigned or needed. - A produce clerk is responsible to maintain department standards and cleanliness.
