GENERAL SUMMARY: Seasonal Quality Assurance: Responsible for quality control checks and reporting for different processes in the plant. PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: . - Grade product and record findings for blemishes, mechanical damage, long/short pieces, and foreign material. - Monitor and record cook process, temperatures, times, pressures, and water level every 30 minutes from the cooker(s). - Monitor and record temperatures from the blanchers. - Monitor and record the fill weights and drain weights. - Seam teardown checks. - Visual seam checks. - Cleaning and sanitizing of lab and lab equipment. - Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly work area. - Notify supervisor immed...
