$15,000 Sign on bonus FULL-TIME EVENINGS: The Radiology Tech performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures, as requested by a licensed physician. The Radiology Tech exercises professional judgment in providing health care services, applying x-ray energy, to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly. The Radiology tech is multi-skilled in the use of O.R. procedures and equipment. General Functions: MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology - Produces high quality diagnostic radiographs, by selecting and operating appropriate radiographic equipment, operating room protocols, c-arm use and advanced diagnostic procedures - Practices aseptic techniques as necessary, understands methods of venipuncture and other sterile techniques, in agreement with state statues and./or where institutional policy permits, prepares, identifies and/or administers contrast media as prescribed by a licensed practitioner - Rotates through advanced areas of diagnostic radiology to include procedures in O.R Urography room, open reductions, myelography, arthrography, placements and trauma - Evaluates images for techni...
