Stoughton Health has an excellent opportunity for an Environmental Services Technician to join our team on a Full-Time basis in our Environmental Services Department. The Environmental Services Technician (EVS Tech) is responsible for performing routine cleaning duties to keep assigned areas in a clean and orderly condition. Responsible for maintaining necessary stocks of cleaning supplies and disposing of designated accumulated waste products. The EVS Tech is detail-oriented and desires to be a part of a great infection prevention team. This position works independently cleaning outpatient areas. In addition to cleaning the tech will do trash pick-up, dust mopping, vacuuming, mopping, and machine scrubbing of floors and sanitizing high-touch surfaces. Essential Functions: - Familiar with Infection Control Protocols - Required to handle biohazard materials safely, including using proper PPE (gloves, gowns, masks, face fields) and disposal methods.
