Help keep the Flagler College community safe while building meaningful connections with students, faculty, and staff in this part-time role. This position blends public safety, service, and teamwork in a dynamic campus environment. College Safety and Security Officers are responsible for general supervision, maintaining safety, providing safety and security services, enforcing College rules and regulations, and protecting life and property within the Flagler College community and at off-campus properties owned/leased in whole or in part by the College. - Interact and communicate with students, faculty, staff, and visitors in a friendly, courteous, professional manner. - Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventive patrol of buildings and grounds on foot, in a vehicle or golf cart; open or lock building doors, gates and parking lots as directed or requested; turn lights off as directed; and occasionally staff fixed posts. - Respond to routine calls for service and non-routine, priority or serious incidents in a timely manner; and take proper action to deal with suspicious activity, trespassers, and law violators on campus. - Conduct preliminary investigations of civil, criminal, or...
