Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Work Shift: Rotating Shifts (United States of America) Primary Function/General Purpose of Position: Assists with supervising and coordinating the administrative and operational activities in the assigned areas. Collaborates with interprofessional team to ensure safe and effective care delivery while promoting a culture of excellence. Essential Job Functions: Leads a team of nurses and clinical support. Supports managers/directors on larger units. Performs managerial responsibilities 80% of time; works on ground support for frontline staff and assists in direct patient care as needed. Assists manager/director in planning and supervision of unit/department goals and objectives. Assists with managers/directors in planning and maintaining department's readiness for regulatory surveyors. Serves as professional role model, mentor, and clinical resource.
