We are working closely with local authority in Nottinghamshire to assist with the appointment of a Chef, on a 3-months contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay : £15.50- £20.25 per hour Summary: The Chef (NJE GR 3) is responsible for planning, preparing, and serving nutritious, balanced, and appealing meals for adults with a wide range of support needs, including dementia, learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions, and complex physical health needs. The postholder will ensure high standards of food quality, hygiene, safety, and customer service while supporting the wellbeing, dignity, and dietary requirements of service users. The role also includes stock management, food ordering, kitchen administration, supervision of catering support staff, and maintaining compliance with food safety legislation and Council procedures.
