Your Opportunity Stantec is seeking dynamic and creative candidates to join our growing Geosciences Team as a Senior Hydrogeologist. The Senior Hydrogeologist will take a technical lead role and execute unsaturated and saturated flow modeling and related projects for mining studies/projects of varying size and complexity, and at various project stages from initial concepts through execution. This person may be required to work on several projects at a time. We support clients in all phases of the mining life cycle, from exploration through post-closure. The Senior Hydrogeologist will join a team of about 20 hydrogeologists and geochemists across our western regional offices. This position will require a passionate and organized individual who can interface and develop relationships with our mining clients; develop and lead teams; develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules; develop and lead site investigations and characterization; execute and review calculations; construct and simulate saturated and unsaturated flow models; and prepare expertly written reports.
