Work Schedule: Part-time, per-diem, day/evening/night. Hours will vary depending on department need and candidate availability but can expect to work days/evenings/nights and weekends. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. We are seeking an Associate Chaplain to: - Follow the Staff Chaplain's assessment of the patient's spiritual practices/values and assist in accommodating and integrating these values into the patient's medical plan of care. - Communicate the patient's spiritual needs to the patient's interdisciplinary health care team as appropriate. - Support the patient/family as they integrate implications of the suggested medical treatment plan in the framework of their spiritual beliefs, and as they work through difficult issues/challenges that may arise during hospitalization. - Consult with the Staff Chaplain to appropriately support the...
