About the Job Summary The Fleet Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the full fleet of primary and secondary equipment across the assigned area in alignment with corporate objectives, with a span of control covering 1-2 locations and/or 50–99 assets. This role provides operational leadership for our Greencastle Hauling—and potentially our Shenandoah Hauling—supporting a two‑shift operation. At the Greencastle location, the manager oversees approximately 40 assets, with 5 Technicians and 1 Operations Specialist. At the Shenandoah location, responsibilities include oversight of 23 assets, 3 Technicians, and 1 Operations Specialist. This position requires a hands-on leader with strong management and people‑leadership capabilities, ideally paired with prior diesel technician experience. This is not a desk-only role; the ideal candidate will actively engage on the shop floor, working alongside technicians to ensure proper maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency. The typical start time is 6:00 AM, though flexibility is required to support early‑morning crew‑outs or operational needs.
