At ING we are looking for Head of Accounting We are seeking a highly skilled accounting leader with a strong background in the banking sector, capable of overseeing financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and the integrity of accounting processes. The ideal candidate combines deep technical accounting knowledge with proven experience in systems integration projects , working closely with IT, Finance, Operations, and other business areas. This role is essential for strengthening financial governance, enhancing process efficiency, and supporting the bank’s digital and technological transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Accounting & Financial Reporting: - Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes in accordance with IFRS and local regulatory requirements. - Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the general ledger and all accounting sub‑processes (AP, AR, fixed assets, treasury accounting, provisions, reconciliations). - Supervise the preparation of financial statements and regulatory reports, ensuring timeliness and high-quality standards.
