Functional Safety Engineer – ISO 13849

Job description

We are looking for a Functional Safety Engineer – ISO 13849 for a global company in Örebro. Start is in June 2026, 7-months limited contract to begin with, possibility of extension after that. As a Functional Safety Engineer, you will work with risk assessments, determination of Performance Level (PL), and the design and validation of safety-related control systems for machinery. You will also contribute to the development and documentation of safety functions within an advanced industrial environment. The assignment involves close collaboration with engineering teams and requires the ability to interpret and apply relevant safety standards in practical development work.
