Position Purpose: The Manager, Fire Systems will be responsible for leading the team for all expense repairs (break/fix), capital replacement programs and strategic initiatives related to fire protection systems for the Home Depot. They must possess a high level of knowledge related to the fire industry along with understanding of NFPA 13, NFPA 20, NFPA 25 and/or NFPA 72. Candidate must have an analytical ability to distinguish multiple components of a problem and develop conclusions using quantitative skills. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to managing/leading a team of 3-5 associates, cross functional project management of key asset replacement, vendor management and performance, effective communication to key contributors and other leaders, reviewing and understanding financial and operational data, and identifying trends in fire protection, budget management, and organizational skills.
