Job description

Overview A licensed practical nurse bears full responsibility for the quality of health care he/she provides to the residents at Seven Hills at Groton. A licensed practical nurse may delegate nursing activities to assigned health care personnel. The delegating licensed practical nurse shall bearfull responsibility for making an appropriate assignment, adequately teaching, directing and supervising the delegate(s), as well as the outcome of that delegation; all within the parameters of his/her generic and continuing education and experience. Provides quality care to children and youngadults in accordance of the Nurse Practice Act of Massachusetts Responsibilities: Delivers competent nursing care.Conveys through nursing practice a clear sense of the role and identity.Contributes to individualized plan of care in which needs are identified and achievable goals are set.Implements nursing care plan in an organized manner; establishes and reorders priorities as needed. Evaluates outcomes of basic nursing interventions.
