Job description

Responsibilities We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Quality Assurance and Test Engineer to join our team in the greater DMV area, supporting the Army National Guard. Responsibilities: - Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for unit, integration, regression, security, performance, and load testing to validate system functionality and stability. - Perform hands‑on testing: data validation, interface testing, workflow and end‑to‑end scenario execution to verify alignment with requirements, design documents, and user stories. - Identify, document, and track defects with reproducible steps; perform root‑cause analysis and collaborate with developers/engineers to verify fixes and retest. - Execute migration, integration, and architecture change verification testing to support modernization and external system interfaces. - Conduct security control validation and performance baseline assessments in coordination with cybersecurity and engineering teams. - Produce Test Plans, Test Reports, defect metrics, readiness assessments, and decision‑grade test artifacts for program reviews. - Maintain test environments, test data, and automated test suites; implem...
