Responsible for the operation of the Fire Department Communications Center. Maintains station log, records all incoming voice communications, and maintains the center in a clean and orderly manner. Must be able to speak clearly under stress and write legibly. Responsible for keeping TO's, Regulations, Charts, Maps, and other items essential to the center's operation in current status and in assigned location. Operates Base after hours communication system as required. Accepts after hours trouble calls, inputs into computer and/or contacts EMCS personnel for troubleshoot or scheduling of craftsman.
