Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Histologist, Fulltime with St Mary's Hospital in Athens, GA Position Purpose: Position is responsible for processing, embedding, microtomy, staining, and processing of frozen sections from OR. What you will do: - Processing, embedding, microtomy, staining and processing of Frozen sections from the OR - Accurately Performs all histology procedures to meet the needs and expectations of the pathologists’ in providing quality patient care. - Assisting the Pathology Lab Supervisor - Other Duties assigned in the Lab. What you will need: - Licensure/Certification/Registration : HT/ HTL (ASCP) - Education: Associate Degree in Applied Sciences - Experience: Prefer at least 2yrs exp as Histologist Position Highlights and Benefits: - Day 1 benefits, no waiting period!
