Job description

Hands on NetApp experience a MUST Minimum education and experience level: High School/GED with twenty (20) years of relevant experience. - Hands-on engineering experience with NetApp and other storage technologies and concepts (Storage Area Network - SAN & Network Attached Storage - NAS) - Must have knowledge and understanding of protocols such as S3, CIFS, NFS, iSCI, and Fiber Channel Block Storage (SAN) - Experience with capacity planning and sizing storage and backup environments (to include Veritas NetBackup, Cohesity, Rubrik, & CommVault - Experience in performance tuning and optimizing storage and backup environments - Experience with data center migrations and storage replication technologies - Senior-level experience with the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of large-scale systems, preferably across multiple hardware platforms and data centers - Strong understanding of high availability concepts with practical experience and implementation of key components in storage environments - Strong understanding of fundamental hardware concepts: disk, memory, CPU, NIC, HBA, firmware, RAID, performance concepts (I/O, paging, swapping, system calls), iSCSI, Fiber C...
