Full- Time Phlebotomist Job Summary: Medical Diagnostic Laboratories (MDL), a member of Genesis Biotechnology Group, is a CLIA certified clinical laboratory with multiple state licensing, specializing in state of the art, automated DNA based molecular analysis of a variety of chronic and infectious illnesses. MDL specializes and performs Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) with a larger menu of testing available in the field of infectious disease. Our main theme of research is in the field of Gynecology, Infectious Diseases, Infectious Arthritis, Tick-borne Diseases, Mycology, and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS). We have an opening for a team-oriented Phlebotomist. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for drawing blood from patients, collecting a variety of other specimen samples as well as labeling blood vials and packing all blood and specimen samples for submission to the lab. Hours: Monday through Thursday 8:30AM - 5:00PM & Friday 6:30AM - 12:30PM Essential Functions: - Collect blood samples from patients - Label vials with patient information - Decipher the best method for drawing blood - Transport all specimen samples to a nearby laboratory - Centrifuge blood samples accordi...
