ROLE SUMMARY: The Senior Director, US Internal Medicine Commercial Innovation Lead reports to the US Internal Medicine Lead and will enable the development and implementation of new technologies and platforms in partnership with the brand team leads. This role will serve primarily as strategic support for ELIQUIS, a co-promote with Bristol Myers Squibb, and a top-selling non-specialty drug in the U.S. Eliquis is a flagship brand for the Internal Medicine Business Unit. The Innovation Lead will be accountable for driving growth in two areas: 1) establishing growth opportunities within the patient journey (ie point of sale support, addressing barriers to treatment) and 2) assessing and implementing new digital innovations to transform commercial efforts. Additionally, the Innovation Lead will support long-term strategies for the Internal Medicine portfolio with cross-functional partners in Business Development, Clinical, Access & Value and Global Marketing. This includes shaping mid-term strategies in Internal Medicine indications of interest and forming a US commercial framework for assessing new therapeutic area opportunities.
