GENERAL PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION: The Custodian helps keep campus buildings clean, safe, and welcoming for students, staff, and visitors. This role supports daily operations by maintaining classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas to keep buildings as attractive as possible. Major Responsibilities: This is not to be construed as an exhaustive list. Other duties logically associated with this position may be assigned. All responsibilities will be conducted within the parameters of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), other applicable regulatory requirements, and professional standards. Compensation: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour - Routine Cleaning - Clean and sanitize restrooms, classrooms, common areas, offices, corridors, lounges, carpets, and hard floor surfaces. Responsibilities include emptying trash and recycling, refilling restrooms, and cleaning supplies - Work Order Task - Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks as assigned through the work order system by the Custodial Lead. - Emergency Response- Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies such as spills, accidents, and safety concerns.
