Specialist - Supplier Relations

Job description

As a Specialist – Supplier Relations, you will serve as the primary liaison between external suppliers and Wesco. You will manage national supplier partnerships by ensuring accurate supplier data, tracking performance metrics, developing issue resolution, and assisting with supplier programs that impact availability, cost, and service levels. Responsibilities: Qualifications: - Lead day-to-day interactions between Wesco and the external partner, including gathering information, following up on open items, and supporting routine communication. - Schedule and prepare materials for supplier meetings, business reviews, and planning sessions. - Responsible for coordinating meetings with suppliers and sales teams, document meeting notes, action items, and follow-though requirements. - Maintain supplier scorecards, dashboards, and KPI tracking tools. - Review data related to fill rates, on time delivery, quality issues, and cost changes, communicate findings to internal teams and external partners to drive strategies and solutions. - Develop resolutions for delivery or order discrepancies and coordinate with supply chain teams to execute. - Advise internal and external partners regarding...
