About the role Mater Hospital Springfield is seeking applications for a Dual Registered Nurse and Midwife (RN/RM) to join us in a permanent full time or part time role. Based at our Springfield campus, these roles will be part of a landmark moment in Queensland healthcare at Mater Hospital Springfield which opened in early 2026. As Mater’s first new public hospital in over 60 years, this state of the art facility will meet the needs of the growing Greater Springfield region. With 174 public beds, ICU, maternity, emergency and surgical services, it’s set to care for over 200,000 patients annually. Join our growing team where surgical and maternity care intersect. Inpatient Unit 2 (IPU2) is a 32-bed Private Surgical Ward with six dedicated Private Maternity beds. Seeking candidates who thrive in a diverse clinical setting.
