Job description

POSITION SUMMARY: Serve food courses and beverages to guests under the supervision of the Chef de Rang. Assist in setting tables according to the type of event and service standards. Provide basic information on menu selections and refer detailed questions to the Chef de Rang. Communicate with the kitchen regarding additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests as instructed by the Chef de Rang. Assist in monitoring guest satisfaction throughout each food course and/or beverage service. Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glassware, silverware, and equipment throughout the day. Support closing duties, including restocking items, cleaning, and turning off lights. Present checks and process payments only when requested by the Chef de Rang or Supervisor. Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete required safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
