With a strong foundation in minerals processing, Sedgman is expanding into new commodities, markets, and regions worldwide to deliver smart, practical engineering solutions. Due to an internal promotion, we’re seeking a safety‑focused, confident, and outgoing individual who values strong relationships and understands the importance of fostering a safe and collaborative site environment. Reporting to the HSE Superintendent, you will be based at our Paget office, with weekly travel to sites across the Bowen Basin. You’ll play a pivotal role as the primary safety contact on‑site, working closely with the CHPP Manager and the broader operational team. HSE: - Assist internal clients with investigating significant events and managing hazardous substances and dangerous goods. - Coach frontline employees on key HSE topics including JSOs, risk management, fitness for work, and safety management plans. - Travel to sites to deliver HSE initiatives and conduct hazard identification and risk assessments as required.
