Job Description: We are seeking per diem RNs to work in our Opiate Treatment Programs in Danvers, Tewksbury and Gloucester. The Opiate Treatment Program (OTP) offers medication-assisted treatments and counseling services for individuals struggling with opiate dependence. All clients are treated with compassion, respect, and the belief that everyone has the ability to grow when they are provided with a safe and welcoming environment. Responsibilities: Conducts initial medical assessment of clients & administers medications as ordered Documents client concerns & communicates patient needs, changes and psychiatric emergencies to Nurse Manager as necessary Provides patient education and referrals: Enters prescriptions into electronic client records Transcribes doctor’s orders: Generates and reviews reports: Maintains adequate inventory of controlled substances.
