Construction Mechanical Engineer **Future Opportunity** CSEngineering is looking to add a Construction Mechanical Engineer to our growing team! This part-time role will support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) at one of its major medical facilities, providing mechanical systems oversight and technical expertise throughout the construction project. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provides part-time mechanical engineering expertise for HVAC and mechanical system oversight for the construction project. Performs site visits, inspections, mechanical submittal and RFI reviews, QA/QC support, and coordination with the COR, AE, GC, and commissioning agent. - The Mechanical Engineer (CM-M) will support the project through mechanical systems oversight, including HVAC, controls, and cooling systems. - Duties include assisting the COR with mechanical submittal and RFI reviews, performing scheduled onsite inspections, contributing to pre-construction evaluations, monitoring construction for compliance with mechanical specifications, leading mechanical QA activities, and assisting in schedule, cost, and change management analysis. - The CM-M will support commissioning activities, identify deficie...
