NXP is a leader in low-power AI and DSP technologies for wearables . With the smart glasses market rapidly evolving, the Voice & Audio team is focused on capturing this growth by developing state of the art algorithms tailored to key customers in the wearable space. We are looking for a Signal Processing and AI Engineer to join our R&D team specializing in speech enhancement technologies . The role involves designing and implementing real-time algorithms for noise reduction, dereverberation, and echo cancellation. The successful candidate will contribute to advancing voice interaction capabilities in next-generation wearable devices, including smart glasses. Your responsibilities: Design and implement advanced signal processing algorithms for speech enhancement in real-world acoustic environments. Develop PoC for performances demonstration. Design and train deep learning models for speech denoising, dereverberation, source separation. Preprocess and analyze audio datasets. Optimize algorithms for low-latency and embedded systems deployment. Conduct benchmark and evaluate performances based on speech quality metrics and listening tests.
