Electrical Engineering Intern Overview: Join the San Jose Laser R&D Electrical Engineering team at Lumentum, where you will contribute to groundbreaking projects that shape the future of optical technologies and commercial laser solutions. These laser systems have electrical power distribution and regulation solutions exceeding 80,000 watts! This is an opportunity to be part of challenging new product develop process, opportunity to work with new product designs. Responsibilities: As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will: - Support electrical system design of laser system. - Work with seasoned engineer on PCB & PCBA schematic/layout design of laser system. - Hands on bring-up / troubleshoot of Proto design with electrical test equipment. - Design analysis of electrical designs e.g. electrical tolerance analysis, component specification compliance, etc. Location: This internship will be on-site in San Jose, California....
