Scheduled Weekly Hours: 0.01 Work Shift: All Work Shifts (United States of America) Job Summary: The Radiology Tech Assistant supports the needs of the Radiology team with the use of the Radiology Information System, basic computer skills, and excellent communication skills. Education: High School Diploma or GED (required) - Organizes rooms, stocks linen, changes and properly removes linen. - Uses two patient identifiers prior to transporting patients to and from Radiology that are not requiring patient monitor or high flow oxygen. - Properly operates stretchers, patient beds, and wheelchairs. - Reviews daily department schedules in order to work efficiently with the Radiologic team members. - Maintains office and medical supplies in all Imaging areas and informs team leader when supplies need to be ordered. - Other duties as assigned that are deemed necessary for department operations.
