Job Description: Horry-Georgetown Technical College is seeking candidates for an Adjunct Instructor for Medical Terminology. The Instructor will be responsible for online instructions and potential face-to-face instruction for Medical Terminology courses. The Instructor will be report directly to Assistant Chair in Medical Imaging Sciences. Teaching Performance: Develop competency-based instructional materials that meet National Standards and SC DHEC curriculum requirements. Supervise, provide instruction, and evaluate students enrolled in EMS programs. Learn and use technology to enhance teaching and the educational experience when appropriate. Employ appropriate teaching and learning strategies to communicate subject matter to students. Prepare for class by reviewing topic material in the current textbook used by the program. Interact with the appropriate college personnel to accomplish the department's goals and objectives. Promote the college's EMS program, associate degree and other relevant training programs.
