Production Chemist Application Deadline: 1 May 2026: Department: Operations: Employment Type: Full Time: Location: Newburyport, MA: Compensation: $66,000 - $90,000 / year Description: Performs routine chemical productions and process developments based on provided work instructions and training in a safe and high-quality manner. Works collaboratively with internal laboratory production colleagues, R&D, operations, and quality during directed development efforts. Key Responsibilities: - Performs and completes routine chemical production based on written procedures or direct instruction within expected timelines. - Ability to set up all required equipment for production of products and other related activities. - Evaluates his/her projects/production (e.g. in process parameters and quality control measures) and offers suggestions for improvements. - Capable of running routine in-process control tests based upon written and direct instructions. - Responsible for maintaining a clear and detailed lab notebook and production records. - Responsible for maintaining neat, clean and safe work area. - Performs other duties of similar complexity as directed.
