Job description

Summary The VIP Interiors Mechanic III works under minimal supervision to safely perform aircraft removals, installation, and/or fabrication of aircraft interiors (which may include galleys, closets, lavatories, side ledges, bulkheads, doors, and panels). We have multiple openings for this role. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Oversees and co-signs for uncertified mechanics in accordance with the GTI RSM procedures. - Facilitates On-the-Job Training (OJT) to provide learning opportunities through work assignment and mentoring. - May assist Leads with planning, production, and quality assurance of assigned projects. - Gathers information to submit to Engineering as needed. - Manufactures and fabricates monuments from raw materials on VIP aircraft including wood, honeycomb, fiberglass, sheet metal and veneers. - Fabricates, fit trims and installs interior components, galleys, bulk heads, doors, side ledges, game, and conference tables. - Reads and interprets blueprints and engineering drawings. - Performs troubleshooting and repairs to inspect incoming cabinetry and interior, removals, inventory, interior, protection, and proper interior nomenclature for part identification....
