About the Opportunity Job Summary: We invite applications for Part-time Lecturer (PTL) positions at the graduate level. We seek a colleague with expertise in bioinformatics and computational genomics to teach BIOL 6216 Applied Bioinformatics for the Cell and Gene Therapy Master’s Programs, depending on program needs and enrollment. This course introduces foundational bioinformatics concepts, computational techniques, and programming skills essential for analyzing genomic and sequencing data, particularly in the context of genetic modification and therapeutic genome editing. Key Responsibilities: The Part-time Lecturer will review and learn key teaching points within existing instructor guides and materials, prepare and deliver lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises based on provided course content, and facilitate in-person or online class discussions that encourage active learning and respectful debate.
