Engineering Technician III

Job description

Position Overview: The Engineering Technician III conducts product and component performance, application and reliability tests in a laboratory environment to confirm design and customer specifications are met. This individual is responsible for setting up and conducting these tests in a safe and efficient manner while ensuring collection and reporting data is accurate, reliable and repeatable. In addition, this individual will provide input and suggestions on potential design improvements identified during the testing process. In this role, the Engineering Technician III will: Key Responsibilities: - Conduct testing and record data in accordance with product development team requests. - Set up and execute product performance/agency accreditation tests on Torque Tables and Dynamometers. - Set up and execute application specific testing on Load Stands and in Thermal Chambers. - Conduct all energy efficiency and safety agency tests according to required procedures. - Define Reliability testing campaigns to meet critical market reliability targets with high levels of confidence, to include product layout, data monitoring and PLC configuration as applicable to ensure safe testing. - Ma...
